Prologue
In these dark and uncertain times, where
Crime, Greed, and Corruption roam free and unchallenged, where the
oppressed, down-trodden masses huddle like frightened, submissive sheep,
there will be One who will dare to rise from the encompassing darkness,
Fearless.One who will rise up and fight against the growing tide of
Tyranny that threatens to enslave his fellow man, suppressing him and
others from the basic fundamental principles of Life, Liberty, Freedom,
and Justice...
He is a Man, One of many, who will dare
to take the never ending battle for Truth, Justice, Liberty, and Freedom
directly into the strongholds of the encroaching Enemy, deep into the
Apathetic heart of Injustice, and straight into the very core of Evil
itself. One Man, a Protector, A Guardian of Humanity, compassionate yet
unyielding, reluctant but determined, a solitary figure, a dark force of
Nature, an unwavering Individual, One Man, Many names...
He will become a symbol, a standard, one
of eternal Vigilance, a rising voice from the echoing stillness, a
nameless warrior, honed for battle, the Night time's silent Dark
Avenger, a reluctant Hero, sworn to Justice, the Eyes in the Darkness,
silently watching...
He will become.......a Dark Shadow.
